I own a flat in Leamington which I rent out; my wife owns two rental properties in London. That’s it, our entire ‘portfolio’. We take a very personal interest in the properties, and focus on high levels of tenant satisfaction, not maximising rents. We want to provide homes. Therefore, our choice of letting agents is a critical part of our business. In the last ten years we have used three agents in London, and two in Leamington, to find tenants and to set up the tenancy. Of those five, three were problematic, one in London was ok, and Belvoir was brilliant. As soon as I sat down and talked to Tracey, I realised this is a professional organisation in which people know what they are talking about. Advice on preparing the flat, marketing, communication with me about the tenancy agreement and other matters, were all excellent. We had the pleasure of meeting John and Conor, who offered further advice, and I liaised finally with Keri over arrangements for the new tenants’ move-in. Oh, and the tenants? They were found quickly, carefully vetted by Belvoir - so far, so good. Belvoir is highly recommended for an excellent service at a reasonable price, and has to be one of the best agents I’ve ever come across in a lifetime of dealing with estate and letting agents.
