From the helpful pre-sale hints and tips (Michelle), expertly conducted viewings (Fiona) and help with my wide ranging pre-move queries (Louisa and Cassie). They are all so friendly, hard working and passionate. After meeting many other agents while viewing houses, some did not seem as interested or knowledgeable about the properties on sale, so I was very pleased and relieved I chose JDG to sell mine.

JDG is an outstanding estate agent to work with. Over the course of two years they both let and sold my property and every member of the team was excellent. When the house was put up for sale, I was especially impressed by the detailed notes that were entered onto the system after every viewing - making it possible for other members of the team to share and pass on information quickly. It was great to get these regular updates. Care was also taken in marketing my property which was essential given that it was a very old cottage (buiilt 1692) that wouldn't appeal to everyone. The advice I received from Michelle and John Gallagher regarding how to proceed - including when to put the property up for sale - was invaluable and I was happy to proceed on their frank and honest advice at every stage of the process. It was no surprise to me that the company won the 'Estate Agent of the Year' award and I shall continue to recommend them to my friends in Lancaster.

My prior experience of estate agents has largely been negative, but my experience of JDG was overwhelmingly positive, from start to finish. In showing the house we purchased, they added value, sharing local knowledge and demonstrating an understanding of the house that helped inform our decision. Special praise must go to Louisa, the sales progressor. She worked tirelessly to help get the sale over the line, often in challenging circumstances. Her communication and dedication were exceptional. Should we ever buy or sell a property again, JDG will be first on our list.

Over many years, I have bought quite a large number of properties in UK and overseas and not just as a personal home. Some are buy-to-let properties for long term tenant, some are property for holiday lets. What I can say is that JDG Estate Agents are well and truly the best agent I have dealt with. They were flexible and accommodating when I wanted to view, excellent on communications and more important, they were willing to go the extra mile when it came to sale progression.
