Not great communication

Very unprofessional when dealing with our house move. The sale did go through probate which took over a year, which understandable was out of the agents hands however the customer service was a joke. We advised on numerous occasions who to contact between which time which was not remembered by the agents. We also were told we would receive calls back which NEVER happened - this was left to ourselves to call the office back. Our agent also left the business and we were not told about this until we called the office after not hearing back on emails. WOULD AVOID THIS AGENCY!

Went back on their word three times and were extremely rude on the phone. Missed out on a property because of their ignorance and inability to complete their job.

I lived at this property for only 12 months when I moved out they tried to charge me £180 for cleaning costs claiming the house wasn’t clean and cob webs in every room, luckily I took photos of the property the day I left and provided evidence to the DPS. I’m glad I had the DPS look into this and Refund most of the money Xact tried taking from me. Also I left a flood light in the Garage by mistake I arranged to retrieve the light back but by the time I went to get the light, the light had been stolen, Agents and the landlord were the only people to enter the property since I had left. Xact denied any wrong doing and claimed I had some how entered the property myself. They made no attempt to solve this matter which was basically theft so details have now been passed to the police. Also I reported a few issues within the property which never got attempted to be resolved within the 12 months I was there. Total shambles of a company so please if you go with them please take photos of the day you move in and the day you move out because this company will try to take money off you.

Just wanted to let everyone know to stay away from Xact homes Solihull if possible. Extremely unreliable and uneithical/unprofessional company. Got house offer accepted in July above asking price. Got survey which showed some cracking so sorted a structural survey. Paid almost over a £1000 for them. Just when the contracts were about to be signed. Get an email if you are interested in this new property on the market and guess what. It is the property I am in process of buying. Now put up 20,000 over the price of mine. Where is the decency to call me 1st and talk. Of course legally one can pull out before contract signed but the way they dealt with this matter. Horrendous and unacceptable. Waste of time and money.
