When my wife and I decided to put our house on the market last summer we contacted various local agents. We met with Darren initially and he was great. We felt he genuinely loved our house so the decision of which agent to go with was easy. Since then our sale has been handed day to day by Stacey. Unfortunately things didn’t perhaps go quite as smoothly as we had hoped at the outset, although none of this was Michael Poole’s fault. They stuck with us and have helped us through to a successful sale at a fair price. Stacey in particular has been brilliant.

Where do I start, we had 2 estate agents value our property, Darren from MP did his pitch, was at the property for over 30mins,the other estate agent around 15mins. Darren promoted his firm whereas the other estate decide to be unprofessional and speak negatively of MP office staff. Disrespectful comments like that do not sit well with me at all. So far we have found the staff at Michael Poole Ingleby Barwick professional, efficient, they have communicated well, kept us up to date. What they said they would do they have done. Our property is now sold subject to contract within 24hours of our first viewings (2 working days of being on the market). Darren and Stacey have been fantastic!!!

Perry Bishop were exceptional throughout the whole process, from booking appointments to viewings and especially in the post-offer sales progression process, a cut above any other estate agents that we engaged with. Lucy in particular was a pleasure to work with and I have no doubt we would have struggled to meet or even missed the SDLT deadline without her invaluable problem solving skills and pure perseverance. A huge, huge thank you to all the team there for your help and also for the welcome pack which was a lovely touch after a stressful long-distance move.

We had a very long and drawn-out process due to slow solicitors and others in the chain. The only saving grace was Perry Bishop. They negotiated well for us which meant we could put in an offer on an amazing house! They've been easy to get in contact with and were happy to help with any queries and questions. The sales progression team, in particular Jade, were fantastic and sympathetic to a frustrating lead up to exchange. She worked tirelessly to chase things up and down the chain, and always got information back to us as soon as she was able, for which we are very grateful and we cannot recommend or thank her enough. They have been great throughout the process and we are due to move to our dream house on Wednesday!
