I recently purchased a small studio flat through Payne & Co and the service provided by Humzah at Payne & Co was excellent. He kept all sides well informed and chased up outstanding issues and very amicably settled a couple of grievances that arose during the purchase. Also, as the purchase was coming to close there were a few potential pitfalls that could have killed the deal in the final days but Humzah was very good at managing both sides and getting the deal across the line. I would highly recommend Payne & Co. Throughout a recent flat sale their service was genuine, transparent and communicative from the initial quote right through to completion day. As a first time seller, I initially considered large national firms (who over-valued and wanted to over-charge), other local firms (who suggested they might be a touch incompetent by failing to turn up to the valuation) and online only agents (who I felt would struggle to find buyers for me at a fair market value). I decided on Payne & Co both because I felt their valuation was optimistic but achievable, and their fees reasonable for the service provided. They delivered three firm offers within a short space of time, all close to the asking price. Following acceptance they kept me regularly updated on progress without prompting and deftly handled standoffs between solicitors which would have otherwise slowed proceedings. The sale was handled by Humzah, Tom and Mark who where all professional throughout.
