We run a legal Services company and have a growing interest in properties which we rent out with Will and Alex at Martin and Co in Huddersfield.A special mention should go to Lee who in my opinion is the unsung hero because when anything is needed to be done like repairs etc he finds a solution and solves the issue at minimal fuss, a quality i value very highly. We have dealt with a large number of Solicitors and estate agents in our professional work on a regular basis for the past 16 years and in terms of professionalism i would rank Martin and co in Huddersfield as my number one choice of firm over that period of time. They are genuinely courteous and polite, and good people to work with.

I have rented in the past with other landlords and have had nothing but a bad experience. I rented with Martin & Co and the whole process was excellent. From getting my keys to arranging my utility provider they were more than helpful. The small maintenance problems I came across were dealt with very quickly by qualified tradesmen. All the office staff are friendly and are willing to go the extra mile to help. I would highly recommend renting with this agent.

Spending the last 4 years as a student and having moved into properties five times, using a different estate agent for each rental, I have experienced the very best and the very worst of what estate agents have to offer. I have to say that Martin & Co Huddersfield have been the very best from my experiences. The entire team there were consistently friendly and helpful, I spoke with Helen and and Alex the most however all of the team were brilliant when I needed them, including their contracted handy man who dealt with all the property damages/issues quickly and professionally. If you're a student looking for a place in Huddersfield, give these guys a try.

I am a private landlord with one property that I have let for the past several years. After a particularly unpleasant experience with one tenant, and the feeling that my current letting agent was not doing enough to rectify the situation, I looked around for another agent. Not being local I was largely reliant on web research and rang several for a chat. It was this initial phone call with Alex that instilled confidence in me to select Martin & Co. Alex collected the keys from the previous agent and gave me a thorough and very professional assessment of my property over the phone and advised what work needed to be done to bring my property back up to standard. Within a week he had not only sourced a number of quotes for decorators, new carpets and fitting, but also had the work carried out and completed (I got to see the finished work a few months later and was very pleased - nice neutral colours, good quality carpet and excellent finish; all on a remarkably small budget).Just over a week after the work was finished Alex called to say he had found me a tenant, who I approved and who turned out to be fantastic. During the 2.5 years that Martin & Co managed my property there have been minor repairs that have been needed and Martin & Co have always acted swiftly, and subject to being able to get hold of me to authorise repairs, these have been carried out within 24-48 hours. I have been very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of Martin & Co and can see that Alex and Will set themselves very high standards. I have very recently decided to sell my property but would not hesitate to recommend Martin and Co in Huddersfield to any landlords.

After a rocky start, It all turned out ok in the end. They were quick and efficient at replacing the hob as it was broken and dangerous. The house had not been cleaned, the fridge was left in a disgusting state and I thought that’s what you keep a deposit for to have it cleaned, I spent a whole day cleaning it, apart from that it’s a nice place and as long as the rent doesn’t go up I hope to be here for a long time 😊 Thanks for sorting it all Emma
