I bought a house June 2018 and the seller used Lancaster's. They were very quick at getting questions to you but not quick at responding to yours. Pros - located in Horwich so convenient to use. selling price is low compared to market. Cons - limited staff available for viewings. time slots were tight. response time to emails was slow. Over all 75% out of 100%.

I am very DISAPPOINTED with Hodders Addlestone Branch! Me and my husband made an offer on one of the properties we liked! The lady dealing with it Was Andrea Gibbons (I am mentioning her name because she basically lied and manipulated). According to her the landlord lives in USA and she was waiting to hear back from Landlord. I am on Mat leave the whole Hodders team does not know that “People get paid on Mat leave! Like wowww!!!” Please train your staff Hodders management!!! So Ms Andrea spoke to my husband at 5:30 on a Tuesday evening around 6 and said that she has put our offer through with misleading information as she thought I do not get paid because I am on mat leave and then they closer their branch at 6:30. The next morning Wednesday I called at 9:24 and I got to know that property has been given to someone else!! Like how and when did this happen? On a Tuesday evening just before you close you are telling us that you are putting our offer through to a person who lives in states and then the branch closes at 6:30. The next morning branch opens up at 9 and by 9:24 the property has been given to someone else!! DISAPPOINTING!!!! I don’t recommend them at all! Please do not trust them and buy/sell From them! I hope this review gets to Hodders management and they can do something about it. Another thing if they were biased because of me being on mat leave then they went completely againte the law and i hope they get caught!

We have a rental property next to us that is unfortunately let out by Hodders. The current tentants are heavy drug users (all day long), in particular cannabis which often comes through the walls and floorboards stinking out oir family home. We tipped Hodders off about the drug use and smoking in the house. I even had to complain to the tenants with smoke bellowing out of the door when they answered. Received a very rude and patronising email from Hodders basically calling us liers and that the smell was incense sticks and if drugs were present to take it up with the police as it was not their problem even though they call themselves property managers. We have since spoken to the police, the house and tenants are now known to them along with the letting agents details.

I pity anyone who is trying to sell a house with this comapny called on satureday twice to try and view properties no answer even though the web site said they we open. left two message and no call back what a shambles

They have done a house up as a project next to us and I have been left without water, alarms going off, fly tipping and finding there rubbish on my car window (happy to post pics of necessary) with new one dealing with it, that is making my home unbearable to live in.

This agent will do anything to gain a property let. Their staff lie to perspective tenants and Landlords alike. The tenant will be promised anything to sign an agreement without this being agreed by the Landlord. I unfortunately chose them to manage my property and it has been a complete nightmare. Now trying to cancel the agreement and being threatened with legal action. Whether you are a Tenant or Landlord stay well away !!!
