We attempted to purchase our first house with Brock Taylor, horsham last year. There were delays further up the chain however I believe Brock Taylor deliberately hid and bent the truth to keep us invested. Upon discussing directly with the seller it became obvious we had each been told different versions of the truth. I believe we were lied to and strung along. We eventually came to our wits end and pulled out of the sale. A complete waste of time which also cost us a pretty penny. Not at all forthcoming or honest. Really disappointed in the service we received.
As you can see from the owners response, this is a very real reflection of the mindset held by Brock Taylor, Horsham. Even when presented with hard evidence they still refuse to accept any wrong-doing. My experience if this company - Disgustingly neglectful, rude, cowardly and unprofessional lettings agent who failed to rectify any of the major repairs needed on our rental property and went on to facilitate a retaliation eviction after environmental health wrote to the landlord demanding steps be taken. Renters go elsewhere.
Failed to undertake any repairs on a disabled tenants home all while being as unprofessional, rude, and condescending as possible.
5 members of staff today - all had masks under their chins - three breaking social distancing.
Listed a property with access to a loft space, which I required. After paying a solictor to do their searches, it became apparent that the loft was not part of the property they were selling. I wouldn't have even enquired about the property had I known there was no loft. This cost me £400 in solicitors fees. No apology, just pleaded ignorance that they didn't know.....but quite happily detailed the loft space and how well it was boarded out up there. Be aware!!
Avoid. If using the letting, watch out for contracts being changed without your knowledge. Ended in the small claims. I got my money back but it was a struggle.
