We decided to begin the process of moving house and wanted to let out our original home. We were completely new to the process but thought the best place to start would be to get the property valued for rental. We approached three agents, all of whom visited our home and valued it. The two other agents remained for around 10/15 minutes each. Stephanie Powell from Belvoir however, remained for around an hour. Having told her we were completely new to the process of letting, she took the time to sit and talk us through the entire process, the things we would need to take into account, the way agents such as themselves could help us as landlords etc. We really appreciated that so much. The valuation itself was very competitive and we were extremely happy. We knew immediately that we wanted to let through Belvoir. Unfortunately the Covid 19 pandemic then hit so the whole process of moving to another property and preparing the other one to let took a number of months. Stephanie however, was with us throughout, promptly responding to all of our questions and queries and providing all of the necessary information we needed to complete let to buy mortgage applications and to generally ensure we did everything properly. Stephanie and the team at Belvoir were able to secure a potential tenant within a week of the property being on the market. They took care of everything and made sure to consult us at every stage. The whole team are always incredibly prompt to return any communication and all correspondence is clear and informative which is incredibly reassuring. As 'newbies' to this whole thing, we really cannot recommend them highly enough!
