Great service and communication throughout the whole house viewing process as well as getting things over the line. I would highly recommend Breckon and Breckon. A special thanks to Matthew for his help!
Matthew recently sold our house for us. His approach to valuing the property, describing it (including a very smart 3D tour), actively seeking and following-up viewings, gathering offers, and supporting us throughout the sale process was in all cases excellent. Thank you and your great team, Matthew. We are very pleased with the experience and the outcome!
I highly recommend Breckon & Breckon! I had the pleasure of working with Ellie throughout the entire process, and she made the experience of buying a property incredibly smooth and stress-free. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly service were outstanding. Communication was excellent—she was always quick to respond, available to answer any questions, and kept me updated at every stage. I am truly grateful for all the support they provided throughout the entire process.
We had a great experience with Ellie and the team at Breckon & Breckon during our first home purchase. Ellie was friendly, professional, and super helpful throughout the whole process. Even when things got a little bumpy, her communication was clear and reassuring, which made a big difference. She kept everything moving smoothly and made what could have been a stressful process feel really manageable. Any buyer would be lucky if their future home is being marketed by Breckon & Breckon. A big thank you to Ellie. We truly appreciated all your help!
A dithering would-be first-time buyer, for over 4 years I looked at properties and drove estate agents crazy, but Ross Mabbutt in the Headington branch of Breckon & Breckon achieved the impossible and got me into a home of my own. Ross responded patiently to my endless questions, and with his help the transaction was smooth and (by English standards) very swift. The property itself is fantastic and I still can't believe my luck in having secured the perfect home for me. It was definitely worth the wait!
Had a great experience using this estate agent to sell my late father’s house. Ellie Fieldwick who dealt with us was professional and courteous throughout the process. Would recommend.
I have used the services of Breckon & Breckon as my estate agent since my first house sale in 1990 and am about to complete another successful move. I would highly recommend them. They are several cuts above any other estate agents with whom I have had contact. Matthew has always made himself available to provide guidance or find solutions to any problems that have arisen in my recent sale. It has been a great pleasure to work with him. The staff, overall are professional and reliable and I couldn’t fault them.
* A chain of 12 * The possibility of a reverse exchange! * To the wire Ellie F proved beyond doubt that she was outstandingly professional on an approachable level with the sale of one home and purchase of another. * Working far outside of her contractual hours, Ellie, without hesitance, on multiple occasions, went above and beyond in assisting us by navigating and communicating productively with all relevant parties. She is skilled at advising without giving judgement and seemingly in her element in this industry, coming across as thriving on challenges (of which we had many!) This was a ‘make or break’ situation for Ellie with everything that could have gone wrong going wrong….it was down to the wire several critical times but she kept her cool and remained calm. Her attitude in this industry is like gold-dust. We are SO SO thankful to you, Ellie!
I can't stress enough how fantastic Breckon & Breckon are. As a team they are extremely helpful and honest, and I have never felt more comfortable with any other Estate Agent. In particular, Ross, who, from beginning to end, supported us with the sale of our property. We are now settled in our new home and extremely grateful. Thank you!
Matthew from Breckon was a brilliant estate agent for my recent house purchase - always available and replied promptly, keeping me informed of progress and progressing the sale as quickly as possible. As a first time buyer I wasn't sure what to expect, but they made the process as smooth as possible and explained everything I needed to know along the way! Thanks to Matthew and the entire team, thoroughly recommend them!
Breckon & Breckon is an independent firm of Estate Agents established in 1947 and now operating from a network of seven offices in the county of Oxfordshire.
We are property professionals with many years of experience in the local market. Whilst we are constantly recommended by many firms of solicitors, high street banks and other institutions, we are very proud of the fact that the majority of our new business comes from the personal recommendations of past clients.
As a privately owned company we are able to react quickly to changes in the market. We constantly review our marketing, often setting new standards for other estate agents to follow. As an established agent we have a large database of prospective buyers that is shared throughout our network of offices. This database is accessed through our state of the art computer system enabling us to match properties to buyers without delay. However, none of this innovation means a great deal if it is not backed up with the right staff. Breckon & Breckon has an enviable reputation and is seen as one of the most sought after companies to work for. Our staff are quite simply some of the most experienced property professionals that Oxfordshire has to offer.
