BEAWARE FOR THIS AGENCY! :( DO NO DO ANY DEAL WITH THEM ,deposit you not gonna see when you will leave the propety,even when you do proffesional clean IN HOUSE ,POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! THIS IS HAPPEN NOW IN 2025, Tenant for many years through these unprofessional agents. Would not recommend to tenants or landlords.

Absolutely shocking service .....or should I say lack of. I really didn't want to even submit a single star but since that is the lowest rating and zero was not an option 1 star it is! Viewed a property, filled out relevant forms and followed up with phone calls for an update on the application progression but nobody wanted to discuss or return calls/drop me an email to notify me of the current situation so gave up and rented with another company.

Have asked these people to sort out the disgusting state of the front garden of one of there H M Os it’s so bad that the bushes are actually blocking the public footpath and could take someone’s eye out is also causing damage to fence pictures have been sent to them and nothings been done shambles of an organisation

I was a tenant with Martin Nad Co Grantham for over 3yrs.. I gave them 1 star die to repairs in the flat took forever to be processed. I left the flat on the conditions they requested sent pictures hoping to get my deposit back which I didn't, I left the flat it has damp walls which was not treated on time, window that won't open since day one took till th ended of my time there to fix a leaking sink in the kitchen.. I feel robbed by my deposit.. they charged me for redecorating a flat that is unfurnished ???

Hello Ginj I am sorry you are disappointed regarding your deposit. It is worth noting that only evidence based damages are charged against deposits. The process is completely transparent with arbitration available should landlords and tenants not agree. It is also worth pointing out that it is not Martin & Co charging you for works. Found them extremely unhelpful whilst enquiring to look at potential lets, wanting to move into the area. Would not recommend, we had bad experience locally with Martin and Co also, so it's likely an endemic issue inside the company with poor staff and dreadful customer service. Would look elsewhere as a tenant.

I went to Martin and Co to find me a lodger for my room. Although they found me a good lodger the process has been awful. The lodger moved in yesterday and I'm still waiting for the rest of his payment to be transfered to me. I have emailed and phoned the office so many times only to be pushed from this person to person. I have spoken to Phillip the director who is currently on a boat and does not care now as I have paid my invoice for the service they have provided . Today they have informed me that they policy won't allow them to make the payment to me. I think its shocking considering this is the first time I have used them. They advised me to get my lodger to make the payment to me directly even though he has already paid them and then they will refund him how is that fair. All they have done is come up with excuses as to why they can't make payment. I will be taking this further. There is no policy on this earth that says you hold on to a clients money that's been paid to you in error. I am so disappointed in this company. I have spoken to around 4 different people in the grantham office and still I'm waiting. I even texted Phillip the director who apparently is the only one that can make payment. I have paid £354 for a half done service. All I want is this resolved and the remainder of the money transfered to me. They owe me £200 If you want a good service be it a tenant or a landlord go somewhere else. They don't respond to emails or when they say they will call you back they don't. You would assume they would want to build a good relationship for future business but apparently not.

Hello Rhys I think your comment is a little unfair as I did take time out from my family holiday to help and I certainly care. Please call me when convenient as it would be helpful to discuss your concerns as we are always looking for ways to improve.
