Honest old fashion service

When our Mother passed away in Jan '19, we ask John Wadsworth to sell her house. Since Bookham is such a small friendly place, John knew our Mum just from seeing her walking from her house up to the café (her social club!), and always stopped for a quick chat. John and Amanda gave us a very professional service, helped with a lot of advice on selling the house, and achieved a fair price in a fairly flat market. I would recommend them to anyone buying or selling in the area.

After my brother-in-law moved into a nursing home in August last year, I had to arrange to sell his house fairly urgently. Thanks to John, Amanda and Laura things went very smoothly and, while it took some time due to the state of the market, I was always kept in the picture as to progress. Completing the sale involved a number of jobs outside of the usual, which, as I live some way from Bookham, were difficult for me to do. I asked for John's help and he handled these without any problems. He then kept on top of completion and exchange, despite having to work from home, due to the' lockdown'. I couldn't have asked for better service and would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone buying or selling in the area.

John and his team have recently sold my mothers house. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They kept us informed throughout the process and were always on hand with advice and a friendly ear. If choosing between a small family company and a larger chain of agents I will always go for the smaller firm in future. Thank you all for your hard work.
