Would be 0 if I could. Deleted and blocked me after leaving a negative Facebook review! Left me living in damp and mould with no working heating for 6 months along with no doors on hinges due to the hinges rotting off for damp. They then charged me to re do all the walls when it was caked with mould and damp from day 1 of moving on. There was even dried urine on the toilet seat the day i moved in. Never respond to call outs for maintenance and will try to charge you for to pay for upgrades to the house then call them repairs. I only live a short distance from the house I rented with them and know the new tenents, so I can see and know.all the upgrades theyve done to the house that they charged me for as ‘repairs’. Needless to say I’ll be contacting trading standard and consumers rights for blocking and deleting negative reviews’

Unfortunately, our experience with Martin & Co has been a complete waste of time. From the very beginning, we were completely upfront about our situation, including the fact that we were travelling all the way from Kent, hundreds of miles, to view their properties. We also made it clear that we have pets and were assured this wouldn’t be an issue. After committing to the journey, we were then told that pets were not allowed, which made the entire trip pointless. This shows a lack of professionalism, honesty, and respect for people’s time and circumstances. To be frank, I wasn’t expecting much given Martin & Co’s existing reputation and reviews, but this experience has only confirmed why their ratings are so low. A real shame.

Made an offer on a property a month ago via phone call, called up to follow up a week later and got told they're contacting the seller. Rang a week later to find out what the hold up was, my offer didn't get recorded. Made the offer again. Rang 3 times in 2 weeks and keep getting promised a call back, and don't get a call back. This is the most painful purchase I have dealt with and we do 3/4 a month.

Trying to view properties with these is near on impossible..... called and emailed about several properties and never got a single reply..... anyone trying to sell, save the headache and use a different agent

Worst letting agents you can find lazy ppl getting money for doing nothing at all avoid as much as you can

Wish I took note of the poor Google reviews. Trying to sell properties with them,it was an absolute joke. The didn't adhere to The Property Ombudsman code of practice nor conduct legal obligations as required. Got fed lines to appease me, wish I stood my ground, I won't be out of pocket. Service was all about them and their books, not the customer, do not go with them.

We're not surprised your ratings are low after using your branch. Highly disappointed at the lack of details and vague comments from staff, angry at the lack of communication from yourselves. Glad we didn't end up with you for our rental projects, this branch isn't a patch on other branches of Martins who we have and currently use. After reading more reviews, this clearly isn't a singlular issue either.

Do not use! Terrible customer service skills. Lots of 1 star reviews on here! As a buyer, they will drop and blank you without any reason! Keely esp. but speaks volumes on the whole outfit. Many many emails and phone calls get ignored, and just a huge waste of time!

All I can say is avoid at all costs rude unprofessional and like to bully tenets when you stand up for yourself if you want want to rent please avoid these
