We had a fantastic experience with Romans from start to finish. Having lived in our house for 11yrs and having done a lot of work to it, we decided to invite five local agents to view the house to provide a valuation and to provide insight into how they would market the property. We had good insights from all five agents but really liked Andy (Fleet Branch Manager) and felt really happy with both his valuation and how he proposed we should market the property. He gcame with a large amount of research and ideas and we felt he really understood us and what we were trying to achieve. One interesting part of the pre-listing experience was comparing online only agents with the traditional high street ones. Whilst I know it isn’t the same for all properties for ours the difference in valuation from the high street agents more than justified the additional fees they charge. This was backed up further by the level of offer we then achieved and the high level service and frequency of contact throughout the whole process. We were delighted to secure a buyer within three days of listing the property after which Andy proved a master at keeping everyone in the chain in check and up to date and 14wks after agreeing our offer, we have completed and moved to our new house. Everyone we interacted with at Romans throughout the process were exceptionally professional and made what could have been a stressful process, a lot less so. Excellent efficient and friendly customer service during the sale and purchase in the Fleet area. The team excelled in dealing with the sometimes difficult communication issues where this transaction was mostly carried out over the phone, as I was supervising the move of an elderly relative. The helpfulness of Andy, Matt and Amy was especially appreciated with the 'home visits' to the relative in my absence, when essential paperwork required attention. The move went smoothly with helpful reassurance dealing with the many concerns. Any queries were dealt with in a professional manner throughout.
