I saw on their website they do a free valuation for general inquiry, sales or letting. Called to go ahead but a woman on the phone turned me down for a valuation because it was a general inquiry (I am planning on selling but at this moment in time it’s a inquiry before building work goes ahead) Many many more estate agents in the area so the ones making false promises are the ones to avoid
Was informed by valuer that they didn't put a sold sign up until the money for the house is proven to be there ...that is why we went with them .Now we are into months and months of sold subject to contact and still no money ! .We are obviously very upset by this and are loosing vast amounts of money on the mortgage payments ext ext as just stuck in limbo as its supposedly sold many months ago and been refused our request to put it back on the market as sold ? We just feel as though we were lied to and still all these months later we don't have the sale money! Just very upset about it all and wonder why they have effectively taken our house off the market refused to remarket when no money for the sale has been received after all this time ? We are tired of having to chase constantly with no sale of our property in sight at all and no viewers at all because its allegedly sold ?We agreed to sell through them as informed we never ever put sold on until the money is proven to be there now into month 8..yes you read this correct and the reply is well there can be unforseen circumstances. Realy ? . We thought the money was proven or not .Wish we had avoided this company as it will cost you thousands and now into Spring 24 when sold summer 23 ..the mental stress is horrendous.
I viewed a property n my Sales Representative came late never apologise also never Assisted Me with any information about the property he opened the door went in the front room n stayed in there the entire time my Partner n I viewed the property.. It was by far the most horrible behaviour I've ever seen or heard of.. Robert Watts isn't for Me.. Oh n I videoed the entire experience so I have proof I'm thinking I should post it..
They never got back to me when I made an enquiry, would now avoid.

Think twice about renting with Robert Watts their communication is very poor at best . We have recently finished a 6 year tenancy with Watts and have had to go in person to get an update on when the bond will be returned 3 weeks after vacating . During the tenancy the gas fire was condemned due to the chimney needing to be relined at this point we were told it was advertised with a fireplace not a fire even though we had been using the fire for two years and it was serviced yearly Last winter we waited two weeks for a boiler this time condemned by British Gas to be replaced . Watts are great i would imagine if you are a landlord but as a tennant you will have to fight for anything you need and they will stall hoping you will go away
Staff on phone rude and abrupt...re viewings could do with some customer service skills..very unprofessional !
I would just like to say this is the worst letting company I've ever come across in my entire life, staff was extremely rude with bad manners, bad behaviour, no interest of letting the property to us, sending us back an forth for unnecessary paper work, time wasting, felt I was racially discriminated, especially by a lady called Teresa. I would not recommend this company to anyone. My wife and I are on over £100,000 income per year and was refused the property that is only £900 PCM I'm not really sure what kind of tenants they are looking for but i guess they need to be on more than £200,000 a year at this rate
