I had my property on for rent with a large national company, who talked the talk, but just couldn't walk the walk. I then used my small local agent 'Abbey Properties', who by their own admission only have a small number of properties under management, but by God they were quick, professional and achieved the rent we wanted.

I was happy to commission Abbey Properties to market and find a suitable buyer for a property in Bampton. They seemed to know the local market and were active in finding suitable buyers who turned out to be fewer than anticipated. The UK general election and poor market was against us. Suitable buyers meeting the expected profile were found but delays caused elsewhere in the chain of sale meant there was a six-month period between accepting the offer and completion.
