Poor communication and delays.
Abysmal customer service! I phoned to enquire about a property that has just gone on the market and was told that just because the initial viewing proposed by the agent was unsuitable that "I should go elsewhere and find something else because the property will just sell its self anyway"
Staff seemed uninterested
Wasted our money and time would never used again !!!
Very poor services. I send an email to arrange viewing and they asked me to call their office to arrange it. When I called them they couldn't book viewing and promise to call me back. I'm still waiting for that call.
Stay away from them. Called them at 9am and arranged a viewing for 10.45am. As I was on the way already, at 10.15 received a message confirming my appointment (30 minutes before the appointment). Drove 30 miles to the property to find out that nobody was there. Waited. Called them to be placed on hold and then to be told that the property was taken of the listing and is no longer available. Apparently I should have received a message, which I didn't. Also when you call them there is so much background noise like they are standing in the middle of football stadium, although it was quite fun listening to someone's personal story. STAY AWAY FROM THEM
An absolutely appalling letting agency from our experience. I can only speak for the letting side of it as we were renting but the service we received was abysmal. They found it acceptable to enter our home to conduct one of their inspections without making us aware and upon ringing them on a Saturday to enquire about getting a plumber in to sort out an issue of no running water in the house was responded with "Can it wait until Monday? Just that anyone we call out will charge a premium." They also find it acceptable to open up our wardrobes to people viewing the house. Only ever use as a last resort.
Make sure you get all information before handing any money over.
Very poor experience from day 1 of our tenancy managed by Cheffins. Issues such as not informing us when a boiler inspection was happening and getting home to find someone had been in our home without us knowing. They didn't inform us when the check out at the end of the tenancy was happening nor were they were bothered about finding out. Glad to not have to deal with them again and when the time comes to buy I won't be going near them.
