We’re all familiar with the general poor quality of many estate agents, particularly in then current strong market where they take buyers for mugs. These people have added a new dimension though - rudeness on an industrial scale I’d made an appointment to view a house is Durham - nice place - unfortunately I couldn’t make the viewing so I emailed them to cancel with plenty of notice. Didn’t make a blind bit of difference - at the allotted time miss arrogant called me and without introduction simply accused me of not turning up to an appointment. When I pointed out that I had given them the courtesy of a mail she laid straight into me - to who, when, we didn’t get it etc etc I refrained from treating her with the disrespect she showed me and politely ended then conversation. If you own a rather lovely cottage in Esh and are selling through this shower I suggest you find a more professional outfit whose employees understand common courtesy I will not do business with this agency again

Constant lies, story changes all the time. 1 star is too good. Lindsay curry who works there tells you anything to get you off the phone. Communication is not worth anything down there. They except your offer and don't keep you updated as to what's going on then you find out they have excepted another offer. Use online estate agents as these are much better and cheaper.

come home from work one day to find some one servicing boiler wasn't told he was coming. end of tenancy cleaned house unfortunately i missed cleaning cooker and inside fridge 1 bulb missing up stairs. several bulbs missing when i moved in. i agreed oven and fridge needed light clean was charged £122 for cleaning £40 for missing bulb. would rent from this company again

Would not recommend to anyone, one excuse after another, six months after accepting an offer on my property I was informed by a third party my buyer had withdrawn from purchase, six months of little or no information from Woods, plenty of excuses, absolute rubbish, didn't even ring me to advise sale had fallen through, what more can I say.

Absolutely dreadful service. House hadn't been cleaned upon key collection, half the lightbulbs in the house didn't work, and none of this is being fixed by the agents. Why? Because the inventory wasn't returned within 10 days of the initial key collection. Hence, you apparently accept there are no flaws in the property and anything else wrong is your fault, thus you pay for it. Shocking customer service from employees who dodge questions, and give same answer to everything. I've only been living in the house for 4 days; I dread to think what the end of tenancy will be like. Do not use this letting agent at all costs.

The most disinterested, unhelpful estate agents I've ever come across. Appreciate they work for the vendor but I would expect them to actually TRY and sell the property. Terrible customer service.

Avoid if you possibly can. We had problems with this agent both during and after our tenancy. They offer no help, and if anything goes wrong with the property (even if it's clearly not the fault of the tenant) they will try their best to blame the tenants. If you have the misfortune of using them, pay close attention to the check-in documents (and keep copies) and document even the smallest of marks, discolouration or cracks in paint or any surfaces. If they can make you pay for something at the end of your tenancy, they will. Expect zero when it comes to customer service.
