It was a bit of a shock when my wife, out walking our dog in our small Cotswold village last October, came back and said she thought she had sold our house! The man she had met, also out dog walking visited, and 15 minutes later, confirmed he wanted it. In november we were visiting Dorset and one of the places we liked was Wool. A ‘For Sale’ sign, from Meyers was followed up with an immediate viewing, literally 20 minutes after calling Richard from our car. We didn’t like the property….but we did like him. Polite, well informed about the property and the background of living locally gave us confidence. Back in the Cotswolds we looked at their website and asked to view another property. Richard, given we were 3 hours driving away, suggested we add a few more properties to view for our visit. After viewing the properties, one house we liked a lot and made our offer. Our sale was very easy but our purchase did offer a couple of vendor challenges which Claire & Richard resolved as they arose. Although Meyers were not employed by us, it did feel they were. They kept us informed and reassured at every stage. Meyers set the highest standards of customer focus and competence and I recommend them to any prospective vendor or buyer.

Based on 25 years experience of estate agents (as a customer) I can whole heartedly recommend Claire and Richard at Meyers. They offer a phenomenal service which surpasses any other estate agents I've experienced. Claire continued to exceed my expectations with her perfect blend of professionalism and compassion. She couldn't have done more to support my elderly mother and I with my mother's sale and actually did far more than her job description including "fixing" my mother's television so she could watch the coronation! She was also an assertive advocate representing our situation with other parties involved with the move when they behaved badly. She kept me informed regularly about progress and recommended conveyancers, heating services and removals firms! If you want to sell your property or buy one in Wareham or Purbeck, don't go with any other agent!

Claire was very responsive and super to deal with. She’s extremely friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable- although we had a few issues to deal with she was onto them immediately and helped to iron out the sale. We’d definitely use Meyers again and recommend to others.

We have gone through the rigours of buying and selling our home on quite a few occasions - a process which has generally been beset with the usual ups and downs, highs and lows. On this occasion we hit the gold spot when we invited Richard and Claire to assess and value our home for sale. Firstly, we were struck by the depth of technical knowledge that Richard had regarding structural matters in an old house and his ability to provide valuable solutions to potential buyers was excellent. Claire did most of the viewings and in this field she excelled like none other we have met before......then, after finding a buyer for us, she was like a personal PA to us filling us in on feedback from conveyancers and giving requisite reassurance to us and our buyers so everyone knew what was happening, timescales and anything that needed to be acted on. From organising our EPC, securing an excellent photographer we simply could not fault the service they provided. They were a joy to work with and that matters in such a potentially tricky process.
