Okay I am very pleased with my flat, I am happy with the area I am in it is near my work and very quiet place, my only concern, is I was told that the stairs and wall bracket that is above my door would be removed, it's still there, and the stairs are still in the same shape when I moved here, they came and cleared the canopy that fell from the wall, but did not clean the stairs? apart from that I am good, hoping the stairs do get cleaned, then I will keep it cleaned myself..
As a whole, my experience with Belvoir is very good. They are always helpful on the phone and always resolve my issues. I get the feeling they are working for me. From them i receive any help i need with issues with the flat - they always get trades men out very quickly. Good people to be backing your corner is why i am giving them a 4 star rating.
I have lived at my rented flat for over three years and have had little hitches. All requestsw of mine were dealt with timely and promptly. Despite a cold and slightly rude welcoming from one of the letting agents when I went to enquire for a flat back in 2011, as a tenant (for 3 years) the overall experience was smooth enough. For any issues regarding the flat,they have responded promptly and appropriately. There is some room for improvement in communication but overall I have no major complains and they get the job done.
Called to view a flat and was told I would receive a call back, got nothing. Called the next day and was given a viewing the next day. The man who shown me the properties was so friendly and polite. This is where the positives are. Immediately after viewing the property, I called and said I wanted to take it. I was told I would be emailed an application. I received nothing. Called the next day and informed them of this, I was then told sorry, it will be sent asap. Again, I received nothing. The following day I called and was told the property hadn't been taken yet, but when I checked their website it was gone. I was very disappointed with this. I wish they could have just told me the property was taken instead of wasting my time waiting for nothing for about 4 days Again, the gentleman showing the property was very nice. The service of whoever is working behind the desk is where the service is disappointing.

Everything is handled well and tenants seem happy. All work they have carried out is reasonably priced and completed in a very timely manner. Tenants have all been reliable and are found reasonably quickly. The only complaint I have is they do not communticate as well as they could and I would prefer to have one person as point of contact rather than different people each time.
Don't expect calls to be answered or emails to be responded to. Repairs getting done is another issue. Lack of coordination and generally a bit a amateurish.
Be very careful dealing with this Dundee branch of Belvoir Lettings. White good were promised and took over a month to arrive after entry date. It took 8 and a half months for them to release the rental deposit. Requests in June 2022 for a flat departure inspection were left unanswered. . Even after new tenant was in situ requests were being received for monthly rental payments. Many calls and emails were sent and left unanswered. Staff appeared guarded and were very unhelpful on rare occasions when contact was actually achieved. Person in charge of the flat rental was never available. Deposit finally released in March 2023.
