After a slightly slow start, Ashtons people were always helpful and efficient. Their marketing was excellent (lovely drone pictures). Communications between buyer, solicitors and ourselves were good.
A good experience when it comes to communication with Joanne and Emma. They were always helpful and replying to my questions swiftly, however the purchase itself took a very long time, which I wasn’t aware of at the beginning. When my offer got accepted, i was asked if I am willing to wait a few months till the seller finds the accommodation, which i agreed, however, I ended up waiting 9 months for the purchase to complete.
Very friendly and professional local estate agents. Always answered my questions and were available when I called either the Culcheth or Padgate offices.
Lovely staff and secured me a buyer very quickly. My only gripe was when quoted it wasn't explained it's + vat which I found frustrating and that's only reason I haven't given 5 star's.
The team responded to every enquiry and ensured they fedback the outcome of the enquiry in a timely manner. Very helpful when needed and a pleasantly mannered teamPositiveResponsiveness
Steve was very helpful
I rung to enquire about a house with an agricultural building. I requested the sizes of said building and whether or not the property had 3 phase. Clearly demonstrating the fact that the outbuilding was required for a business - or so you would think. This information was not available on the listing. Had it have been on I would not have needed to call. 4 days later and still no information so I called back. I explained I did not need to view the property at this point. I was only requesting the information above as this would determine whether or not the property was suitable for our needs. (Again fairly obvious for a property of this nature). Joanne said at one point that I was a time waster that liked a galavant on the weekends nosying round people's homes. (I only wish I had time to waste) Again I explained we needed a property with very specific needs and therefore needed the questions answering and had the listing had the above information I would not have needed to call. All I required was the dimensions to decide whether or not the property would be suitable for our business. At this point she then said they didn't believe the council would allow a "Full-Blown" business to go into the building. The irony that I'm the time waster yet again this information was not on the listing. She also stated that if my house wasn't on the market I wouldn't have the funds/time to buy this property - as though she A) knows my situation or bank balance. B) that chains don't exist and sometimes fall through Her attitude then changed when I explained we didn't feel the building was actually big enough for our needs and we were looking for something larger. She was then shouting out random emails to me, to see if I was on the system. (Very data protection conscious) They'd actually never bothered to get my email. Bravo! What a way to get customers, insult them and then try and get their information for the future. To the owner - Yes, I felt the need to write this. Yes, I do feel your practises, policies, training and procedures require looking at. Yes, you could still follow the client's instructions and believe it or not answer my basic questions. No, all the information wasn't available on the listing or I wouldn't have needed to call. No, I do not feel the need to reach out to you regarding this any further Yes clearly there's an issue, you only need to read the other 1 star reviews they all echo the same issues.
