Good service, excellent staff !!!

Thank you to Jennifer Vergerson for her very energetic and professional approach to handling my inquiries while I was looking for a property to buy in Croydon.

Viewed a house with Streets Ahead. Put in full asking price offer together with the requested mortgage approval in principle, proof of fund and payslips. We were after informed that apparently the vendor was wanting £40k more and if we could match the request. We had to withdraw the offer. Since then we were reluctant to view any further properties with Streets Ahead due to uncertainty if this experience could be repeating. Overall, will still recommend Streets Ahead though.

The letting service provided by Manning Stainton has been generally satisfactory, especially John Sheader, whose prompt communication and efficient handling of issues have been very helpful. I would like to suggest two areas for improvement: 1. After a tenant pays the holding deposit, it would be very helpful to provide a confirmed move-in date. This would greatly benefit new tenants and help reduce potential financial losses. For example, it would allow them to give timely notice to their current landlord, arrange school transfers for their children, organise broadband relocation, and schedule furniture deliveries. 2. The check-out report provided at the end of the tenancy could present a more neutral description of the property’s condition, in order to avoid unnecessary disputes during the deposit return process.

George,the street ahead agent,was very helpfull to us. He understood our situation and tried to help us as much as he could.
