Made an enquiry about a Property & they never had the decency to reply absolute waste of space!🤡 …
Terrible agency!! Do not rent from them or use them as an agency for your property. Bad management, incompetant, and unsympathetic.
Terrible customer service, worst estate agents I've ever dealt with.
EDIT: extremely rude and unproffesional director Gareth. My situation has changed and I've "inherited" an assistant dog (thanks God because I was struggling!). …
Absolutely appalling service. Agreed to buy a flat, & had DIRECT negotiations with the owner. He completely misinformed me of the financials in the lease. They were more than double what he officially advised me. When challenged, he was completely Blazey over the situation, due to his gross incompetence I missed out on other properties. On officially complaining directly to the owner, he ignored my correspondence. On chasing again, he repeated his silence. How an owner of a company can practice like this is just beyond professional belief. Utter disrespect to his customers.
The most unprofessional company I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. No care or consideration for families who are struggling with the cost of living crisis. The staff members would rather laugh about families misfortunes rather than offer help or support. Extremely demanding and unfriendly. Should rename the company to put a C instead of an H.
Should try replying sometime
Start of tenancy: We are new tenants with Manning Stainton. We had mainly dealt with Jan during the viewings, Kimberley/John during the referencing process and Kay during the key collection. I found Jan to be very lovely and friendly during ALL our viewings with Manning Stainton. She was very accommodating and even made us laugh! Kimberley and John were really helpful, clear & prompt with their responses during the referencing process; which made made me feel at ease. Five stars! During tenancy: We have been living at the flat for almost 3 years. We have ongoing maintenance issues not sorted, they arrange irregular inspections, they initially screwed up registering our deposits and the property managers who were supposed to care for us during this time have horrific terrible communication between them so far. End of tenancy: The landlord had tried to take my whole deposit for damages in my flat when I decided to leave. Being lucky enough to have experience with the DPS system and having evidence (photos & videos) sent to the managing agent & DPS of all the repairs that had not been sorted throughout my tenancy, I had fought my case against this and had managed to get back 2/3 of my deposit. Given I had tenanted the flat for 5-6 years there were naturally some damages which I put some of my own money towards from the deposit. Overall, manning Stainton weren’t good at looking after the flat in general. Poor communication with the tenant and amongst themselves, also not efficient enough when carrying out any repairs to the flat.
Estate agent messed up the viewing TWICE for the same property, both times they just didn't show up as agreed, second time we managed to get someone to come but they weren't able to access the property as they had the wrong keys or the lock was broken. They've ignored every email we've sent them, including an offer on a property. Nice people but abysmal to deal with and impossible to contact as a tenant (funnily enough the lines for landlords and sales are always open..)
