We have been very impressed by the service received from Burns and Webber and would have no hesitation in recommending them to prospective clients. They are very professional and also reliable and friendly. At all stages of our sale we have been kept fully informed. It was an easy decision to place our property with Burns and Webber and one which we have been glad we made. This was our first move in 28 years and so we needed a bit of guidance to help us through the process of moving home. From the first meeting with Clive, the branch manager, and his valuation of our property we felt reassured that the team at Burns and Webber would be working both for and with us. We were not disappointed and had several viewings in the first week with a resulting offer which we accepted.. They say moving house is a stressful time and I must admit that the following couple of months did throw up a few challenging moments however with the help of Burns and Webber a successful sale was completed.. Buyer Beware!!!! We offered full asking price on a property , was told that same day the vendor would be delighted to accept our offer, this was followed up by an email confirming the above asking for proof of identity solicitors details etc thus allowing them to send out the memorandum of sale. The property was then advertised as sold subject to contract.. off the market! Job done you would imagine. A weekend spent believing the property was ours and moving forward on that basis. The following Monday we were greeted with a voicemail telling us another offer following our accepted one was now being considered offering over and above the asking price and that they were legally obliged to put it forward, ha ha ha !! One would of hoped the days of estate agents encouraging and facilitating the act of Gazumping was over… We were cash buyers If you are looking for an agent adapt at the above look no further… We look forward to reading the estate agents spin in response to this factual account . Poor poor poor…. Real shame my best friend is an estate agent and to be honest he is decent and conducts himself with integrity…………. a few bad apples I guess

How disgusted with this company they can arrange a viewing for you then put the property under offer on their website but fail to inform you. Evidently it happened late last night and definitely too late to notify us. I had to ring 90 mins before the appointment to find this out. The most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with.
