We saw our new home advertised through Robin Kings website. When we were shown around the property we were very impressed with the quality of the viewing appointment,(thank you Margaret). As a result, we decided to market our property through Robin King. From start to finish we could not fault the service received. The marketing of our property, the arrangement of viewings right through to the sale of our home and purchase of the new property. Communication between all parties was prompt, efficient and made what can be a very stressful event, more manageable. Thank you to all involved at Robin King in helping us find our fabulous new home. Robin King are a quality local agent. They understand the market, the process and employ very high quality staff. Their accessibility and service is second to none, with dedicated staff performing to a high standard on all occasions. Having both purchased through and sold via Robin King in difficult circumstances, I would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others.
Our experience of selling our house through Robin King estate agents has been excellent. We felt the support we received from the whole team was outstanding but in particular from Ruth Treasure-Smith who guided us through the whole process and secured us a sale at our asking price. Always available at the other end of the phone, the Robin King team responded quickly and efficiently to our queries. Very disappointed with Robin King Lettings as they have some nice properties. I want to share our experience to avoid it happening to others. Despite paying a significant amount of rent the cooker, dishwasher, plumbing, heating and electric garage door were not functioning properly at the start of the tenancy, Added to which, when you turned on the lights in the kitchen - it tripped the whole circuit. This was written on the inventory but no one felt the need to do warn us! Over a week later - I am still waiting for a new dishwasher, the cooker repair is scheduled for next weeks so has been unusable for 10 days, the heating is not working properly and neither is the garage door. While Robin King have been responsive to some of the issues my point is that the property should have been up and ready for when we moved in, especially as this is only a short term let. I have not been offered any compensation from the landlord and will have to pay the full rent this month. Learn from our mistake and check everything is working properly before you move - turn on taps, lights, cookers etc as you can't rely on the landlord or agent, all they want is to get the property rented as quickly as possible so they can have their money. Overall a very disappointing, expensive and necessarily stressful experience.
Won't talk to you about a property unless you give them your postcode, despite telling them, we are relocating and moved out of our last property. Insisting on giving them a family members postcode before speaking to me. How bizarre. They're so desperate to fill their database with your personal details that they will refuse to even talk to you about a property unless you give up all your personal data. Again, how bizarre...
