DO NOT USE FOR RENTING. We used Hunters for a rental in chesterfield and they turned out to be the most incompetent estate agents ever. Especially matte barns. They waited until after we signed the contract to then tell us the landlord would no longer be willing to invest money in the property. We had electricians in stating the electrics were dangerous (after being supplied with a certificate for electrical testing) we had extension leads running all over the kitchen and the shed that was part of the structure was falling down and mould everywhere to which their response was to 'clean it everyday'. Upon leaving, barns supplied false and manipulated images to the deposit holding company declaring all charges, coincidentally, came to nearly the full amount of the deposit. The first image was of the gas meter, with his middle finger poiting at us, and also covering the fact that the meter was in fact in credit not debt. Another image supplied by barns, showed a single step covered in debris but an image he took of the hallway which caught the stairs showed them to be clean. Another image showed the shed full of rubbish, which was in the house when we moved in, another showed a light fitting with the light turned on, which was off in the original picture, showed signs of dust and another picture showed the serrated cooker vent from a different angle to make it look worse than what it was. Barns was so incompetent at his attempt to defraud and steal from us that the only evidence we had to supply was THEIR pictures of the property when we moved in to THEIR own pictures when we moved out. The deposit holding company was confused by this and returned the FULL deposit to us without the need to take the case any further. Please if you rent from these, take your own images and protect yourselves from these obvious thieves. Not everyone will be as lucky as us. DO NOT Trust HUNTERS All images from both moving in and moving out can be supplied so they can't deny any of this, along with recordings from the electricians. Also to add the itinerary pretty much showed the the house was pretty gross when we moved in but we didn't have a choice and we moved out within 10 months and have been at our current property over a year now with not a single issue from us or the landlord, which really goes to show that scumlords are still active

One of the worst estate agents I've had the misfortune of dealing with. No communication, incapable of selling your house and happy to push prospective buyers to other properties in thier portfolio as long as they're getting the commission. Avoid at all cost. Useless

Agent would only communicate via email, never answered or returned my calls. Constantly pestered me for updates on the sale and threatened to pull out of the sale if not completed on a certain date. All this despite my providing them a contact person to contact for updates. I also added them to the ASAP website to access for updates but they didn't bother accessing it. On completion and day of collecting keys, I was only given keys to the back door, no front door keys resulting in me having to pay for a locksmith. When challenged about this, they only said "We don't have anymore keys for this property"

How about you leave us alone..... In response to Hunters reply- you now want our address? After you took our house information off Rightmove! Without our consent to be on a mailing list! Under GDRP rules is that legal! We will not be sharing our address with you as I guess we are one of many people selling you have targeted. For each letter we may get a 1 start review will be posted..

No ethics and not customer friendly. Looks like Negotiators are not bothered about helping prospective clients. Never reply to calls. Not a proffessional team.

Went to the wire with a property before being told it was non-standard construction and had structural issues. Which they knew about the whole time. Not illegal (but should be.) Bad, just bad. Won't trust this agent a second time.NegativeQuality

Hi Mark As discussed by email - I am sorry that you were not advised at the viewing that this particular property was a steel frame construction. Any defects have been fully repaired. We have been mentioning this to as many clients as possible as it is not in our interest to hide anything and have been sending the Structural Report to all parties.
