Have just exchanged after selling through and buying through the property centre. Cheltenham branch have been helpful throughout the process. Safe when visiting our home and showing others around. Great enthusiasm when we first met the initial team and very friendly throughout.

SELLERS.. avoid OLIVER DAVIS in this company. I regret to inform you about a disappointing experience I had with one of your representatives, OLIVER. It appears that sellers should avoid dealing with Oliver, given the lackluster service I received. When I expressed interest in viewing a property, Oliver refused to accommodate my request, citing my previous viewings without any purchases. It is deeply concerning that an Estate Agent would make such a judgment WITHOUT CONSULTING the client. The insinuation that I should part with my hard-earned money for properties that do not meet my criteria is not only unreasonable but also unprofessional. As a client, I expect to be treated with respect and to have my preferences considered. This experience has left a NEGATIVE IMPRESSION, and I hope necessary actions will be taken to address this issue. UPDATES AFTER MY INITAL FEEDBACK HERE: While I initially refrained from writing about this matter, your audacity to respond compels me to make the situation clear. After I posted my initial feedback, OLIVER contacted me from a PRIVATE no. and HARASSED me about my reviews!!! This raises a significant concern: does GDPR permit the use of business databases to harass individuals when no business transaction is taking place? Oliver made FALSE allegations during the call, claiming that we didn't provide a Decision in Principle (DIP), didn't show bank balances, and didn't turn up for appointments. I challenged these accusations, asking for evidence, as they are entirely untrue. If your agent fails to show up or arrives late, it is unreasonable to expect clients to wait indefinitely, especially those with other commitments like children. In the professional world, respecting others' time means informing them of delays or cancellations in advance. We expected the same courtesy. If you were truly PROFESSIONAL, you would not have called from a PRIVATE no.. Instead, you would have APOLOGISED for the misunderstanding and asked for the necessary documents to proceed with the viewing. However, your ARROGANCE and ego overshadowed your professionalism, and you decided not to show the property we were keen on, which raises questions about your CONTRACT with the SELLER. Personally....We would not want to work with such an ESTATE AGENT. It seems you had nothing better to do than to HARASS me from a PRIVATE no.. Please remember that other people have businesses to run, especially when you have already decided not to continue business with them. Hence why I HAD TO CUT his call!!! WARNING: Beware, people! If you provide feedback they don't like, they will call you from a private number and harass you.

Having seen that you have booked and then failed to show up to 6 recent viewings with us, the decision was taken to not continue to do business with you, saving our vendors from wasting time in preparing their properties for viewings that will never happen. As explained on the phone, we always want to ensure we are offering the best service for our vendors and landlords, but wish you well with your property search.

I used Property Centre to purchase a house. Barney the estate agent advised us that the seller was not in a chain but when it came to the day of completion, we found we were unable to move at the agreed time because there were some delays with the property that the seller was purchasing. Also, Property Centre recommended that we used Dee & Griffin solicitors because they'd be able to get things moved along quicker as they had a good relationship with them but when I called Property Centre they would not assist at all despite them earning a £210 referral fee. Personally I wouldn't trust Property Centre as they seem to only be interested in getting their commission and don't care about how they earn it. EDIT: I have since spoken with Dee & Griffin solicitors and they have confirmed that they incorrectly advised me that they would be paying a referral to the Property Centre but given that I had to endure a 20 minute unprofessional phone call from Oli almost immediately after leaving this review who asked me for irrelevant information such as my company name so I won't be withdrawing my review as my point still remains: You should not deceive prospective buyers and you should always try to be helpful and professional at all times. Just because someone isn't your client or paying you, doesn't mean you can't still be polite and helpful. You are precisely the sort of Estate Agent that gives Estate Agents a bad name. If you were honest and transparent then perhaps I would have considered using you to sell my house.NegativeProfessionalism
