When getting our house valued Tom was honest and reasonable about the valuation and tactics we could take to sell our property. We also took the opportunity to view some houses with F&D and other local agents to see if we liked their style of showing around prospective buyers. F&D stood out as they were not pushy and felt honest and genuine about the properties. Our house did not sell within the first two weeks on the market, as the house had a feature clearly stated on the floor plans that put off many prospective buyers on viewing. Due to needing a quick-ish sale because to life circumstances but also needing a set amount for the house, I discussed tactics with Simon. Simon was a great help during this period. Whilst he made it clear he would follow what we wanted for selling the property, he was honest and gave advice based on experience. We sold the property quickly afterwards. On buying a property F&D was quick in giving us details of properties coming on the market meeting our needs. When biding our offers felt like they were prioritised. Whilst the property we eventually bought wasn't through F&D, we felt very supported and cared for during this process. Simon was very prompt in responding regarding queries within our chain. And, despite the typical delays due to solicitors I felt the sale of my house went as smooth as it could have done.
