I have rented my property out with Northwood since 2016. The leggings dude have been great, really proactive and supportive, particularly during the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic. I can???t thank your leggings team enough. Overall, I???m happy with the sales side. However, I have noticed a few ???miscommunications???. For example, being told I???d get an email/call back but they never came. Due to me having such a positive experience with letting my property, I trusted your suggestions of solicitors. I???m not one to moan but I don???t think Newbold have been very good at all. Prior to working in education, I was a solicitor, so have a good understanding of the legal sector. However, that being said- I wouldn???t use them again. Poor communication. Zero urgency??? the list could go on. I???d like to pass my personal gratitude to Kate. She was the reason I chose to initially let my property in 2016 and why I???ve done so ever since before using you guys to sell. Thanks all. Kind regards, Nick

The sign up process for Lettings was very easy. We viewed a property, submitted a Note of Interest and then we were offered the property. The check in process was also smooth. A member of staff met us at the property and we went through the inventory. Any maintenance issues were dealt with by the landlord primarily which did ensure issues were resolved in a timely manner. During our tenancy we had biannual 'check ups' from a Northwood appointed 3rd Party. This was relatively painless but they usually took quite some time to book in. Not sure they were necessary for such a short lease. One another occasion, Northwood forgot to actually book in the Gas Safe engineer, that resulted in a half day wasted. Check out was a different experience. In all my past rentals the agent or landlord met at the property a few weeks before the end date to see if there are any issues we needed to 'make good', avoiding any disputes with the DPS. Northwoods process is different. Once you've handed the keys back they will then arrange their 3rd party to inspect the property. Thankfully, we had a good relationship with our landlord and we were able to agree to meet on the day of check out to go through the inventory. I did have to chase the deposit a week after checkout but it was then released the next day. Overall we were happy with Northwood as managing agents but in reality, it was our landlord organised the majority of any maintenance/fixes required.
