I appointed Miles and Barr to help sell my 2 bed flat. The initial property inspection was professional and hassle free much like the other estate agents I had around. Their valuation of my property was the most realistic out of the three companies. I arranged photos to be taken and paid extra for the 360 degree walkthrough option. The photos came out well and the property was posted within a few days before the Christmas period, something other estate agents would not promise to do. Their fees were slightly higher than other seller however they were selling a similar flat in the development which had been on the markert approximately 9 months prior and was facing significant delays in the selling process. I went with Miles and Barr as they would have information on this property and the issues they were facing. I was also not going to be in the area anymore so I wanted a larger company who could manage everything. I fortunately only required one viewing so I cannot comment on the extended selling process but was happy with how they booked in viewings and provided feedback. Rebecca Gravener was appointed my sales progressor and was amazing. From start to finish this was a difficult sale as expected dealing with an unresponsive management company. Rebecca was excellent at chasing delays, being honest with me about the situation and managing both parties through a delayed sale process. I truly believe without picking Miles and Barr and getting Rebecca’s support my sale would not have completed. Overall I was very happy with Miles and Barr and Rebecca. Yes they cost more but I feel I got a better service for that increased fee.
