My wife and I had almost

My wife and I had almost given up on finding a suitable property in the area. We had heard from other agents that the market was extremely fast moving and every time we booked a viewing they were being cancelled prior to the appointment because they had already been let, despite being told we were the first to be viewing it. We went into Belvoirs office and told them of our bad fortune when they advised that they were just about to take a new property onto the market but only had a few photos. They were not able to start viewings for a week because the landlord was doing works to the house but they went out to the property that day to take some more photos just so we could see exactly what it was like. Not wanting to lose it we asked if we could put down a holding fee before we went to see it. We were told that this wasn't their preference as they wanted people to be sure before they committed but would speak to the landlord again to see if they could get a one off viewing. Because the property was close to the agents own home they managed to get us in for a late viewing which was convenient for us as we both work in London.
