We were looking to purchase a property and approached mark ewin to see if they could help find something suitable. After an initial call where they asked if we had a house to sell and were informed that we don't, all they really seemed interested in was referring us to a mortgage broker. We haven't really heard anything from them since, even though they are listing properties within our criteria on their website. Edit - following posting of the review, mark ewin called me to try and resolve the matter. It turns out my email address was taken down incorrectly which is why I had not heard from them. Mark had offered to assist further with us locating a property however this isn't a service we require any longer but I wanted to update as mark was certainly proactive in trying to make things right once it was brought to his attention.

Communication was regular and I felt my agent was always working towards the goal of helping me complete as soon as possible. When I called the office there was always someone on hand to answer or take a message. The little hamper I received upon completion was also a lovely token to welcome me to my new home.

i was shown round a house in Bishops Stortford By a very nice young Man called Michael Brett,the house unfortunately wasn't for me but i would use Mackay again because of young Michael who i think was all that a good estate agent should be (honest & very Knowledgeable both good traits )

Had the unfortunate experience of buying from this estate agents recently. They harassed and bullied me endlessly. I would not recommend buying from them ever or selling with them. They will likely scare off potential buyers. I really struggle to understand how they have good reviews. I can only assume the good reviews are from the sellers who they are likely lovely to.

Up there with one of the worst experiences I've had with an estate agency. Wouldn't respond in a timely fashion, initially refused to pass our offer onto the vendor. Lied about our offer on a house still being considered to then check Rightmove and find that a sale had been agreed with another buyer. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone especially if you have to deal with Lizzy

Currently in a chain of 2 houses, the bottom of which mark ewin is selling and they have been absolutely useless. Never return calls, never know the answers to any questions, emails do not get responses and they have been impossible to do sales progression with. It will be a miracle if we get this sale and purchase over the line

Zero communication. Had to chase everything up myself. No returning of calls. Then days later application rejected with no feedback.
