The service from James and his team at Miles and Barr Ramsgate was excellent from start to finish. Would not use any other agent and would highly recommend.

We recently purchased a property in Broadstairs & found Miles & Barr to be a great company to deal with from the viewing agents to sales negotiators. Someone was always available to take our calls or if we left a message our call was always returned. We had a little misunderstanding on a viewing date but this was swiftly rectified. Nice friendly staff who all could quickly access our purchase progress details.

Purchasing property, selling property is a stressful business. All I wanted from an estate agent and financial service is professionalism a bit of understanding and empathy. Cannot complain about the service received from all at M and B. Well done guys, have a sticker!

We had a very stressful move which was made easier by the staff at Miles and Bar. They helped keep the process on track after the chain was broken and kept us fully informed of the progress of our purchase. On our 2nd house sale / purchase with Miles and Barr 4 years on from our 1st sale and we can definitely notice an improvement in the process. Everything is clear, all colleagues know of the property, status and nuances of our sale so we can talk to anyone in branch. We are currently in the conveyancing stage and miles and barr are providing clear communication and regular updates.

Can not fault the start of the process, The Sales staff were brilliant, we felt they were honest and helpful, always coming back to us when we had questions. They didn't really have to sell our house as we were lucky enough to sell to our first viewer. We were not impressed by the, all be it, indirect pressure we had from their panel solicitors, despite our clearly stating we would not use them, they kept trying to get us to and labelling it as a 'mistake' if that is the case take note of our instruction that we are not using them the first time and do not continue to try and get us to sign up with panel solicitors. Once sold, although our Sales Progressor was very friendly and a nice person, we felt everything slipped from this point, we could rarely actually speak with her, we could always leave a message but she rarely called back, preferring it seemed, to email. She did eventually provide an adequate service and get things moving for us, but we felt only because we would not give up and continuously chased things. However, despite the disappointment of the after sale process, on the whole we had a good experience, the staff were all friendly and we can understand why M&B have a good reputation. We would definitely recommend them as they are, on the whole, very good at what they do.
