Very unprofessional. I don't recommend it.
Worst customer experience ever. It has a reputation around Bristol, but in matter of customer support, it should receive less than one star. After many issues within the property, every time we had to contact the landlord, a property that was miss soled to us, as managed by CJ Hole. They jump in so fast to put you to sign the contract. After you sign the contract, they will be all gone, not only they do not manage properties, they DON'T CARE about you. They are so “busy” they forget to cancel the standing order that was supposed to be cancelled after my last payment. Incurred £20 for nonpayment, and affects my credit score.

We have been seriously disappointed in CJ Hole on 2 previous occassions and we now out of principle refuse to deal with them ever again- this is really upsetting when they do have a lot of decent properties and we now want to buy somewhere not rent. Our first experience with CJ Hole was to rent a student house; the whole experience was highly bureaucratic and pointless. For instance, they asked us to attend the estate agent with all our housemates and their parents (at least 12 people in total!) at the same time for a 5 minute guarantor meeting- why this had to be done in this manner I will never understand. Also the agency fees here are excessive. Our second experience was our first rental after university when we viewed a 3-bed property and were told that we were allowed to have 4 people living there. Therefore we went ahead and paid all the agency fees to secure the property. However when we went to sign contracts we were told that we were NOT allowed 4 people due to extra 'wear and tear'! The agent who showed us around the property clearly just said anything to get the sale. Shocking. Ultimately, we lost out on a lot of money due to a catch in the contracts whereby if we backed out then they didnt have to reimburse us. This being said- even though they were aware of this mishap they refused to back out because they knew we would have to and ultimately then they could keep our money. This was all left to the week before the moving in date. a win win for them.

Warning to all Students renting through CJ Hole. These agents will keep your £180 letting agents fee if you fail to qualify their application process. Seven students have just lost £1260. The agent didn't even draw up contracts and only got as far as taking credit checks.We think this is day light robbery and the agency are refusing to even refund a portion of the fee considering they did very little for the £1260 charged. This is unfair and unreasonable and in light of the recent news on the BBC today regarding rip off agents we will be taking this further through the Trading Standards. I repeat. STUDENT BEWARE OF USING THIS AGENCY.
Terrible experience. The letting agent showed us the wrong flat in the building as a result we were given a tenancy agreement for a completely different (unsuitable) place. We only found this out by chance two days before our move in date. As a result we couldnt move in to either property as the one we viewed and actually thought we were getting was let and the other was disgusting. They refunded us immediately and admitted fault at first they appeared to be really helpful and tried to help us find another property, however, they would not provide us with temporary accommodation until they found somewhere else suitable for us. They offered to compensate us for some of the costs incurred which quite frankly are pathetic, this includes £35 towards the van hire! Now in we are in a position where my partner and I are homeless as of Saturday, we have been given no suitable alternative and are going to have to rely on the kindness of our friends until we find somewhere to live. As you can imagine we have both have had to take time off work to look for another home, hire a van and find storage for all our belongings, not to mention the sleepless nights and stress we've had to endure. Their stand point is that as they're not obliged to provide us with temporary accommodation - they wont, even though its their fault we're in this situation.
