Absolutely terrible experience with this agency. We have taken over the property from the previous tenants without inspection and we have been asked to sign an outdated inventory (by 8 months). The house was filthy and damaged but we still agreed as there was pressure of time. After one year we were asked if we wanted to renew and we accepted. Our response was ignored and only 4 months later we discovered that the renewal was not completed and we were on a monthly basis arrangement without our knowledge. When we confronted them, they cited our contract and refused to take any responsibility. We renewed the contract after a lot of delays and yet again we were asked to sign the same outdated inventory. At the end of our tenancy they told us that all 3 keys we handed back (the ones we were using up to the last day) were not working and that we would have to pay for the lock change without them providing any proof. We delivered the property in a better state than we got it but it has been 3 weeks and still they have not given us back our deposit. They claim that the property needed cleaning, even though it was handed in an immensely better shape than when we took over and supposedly the landlord is calculating the deductions, some of which seem to be for damages from the previous tenants. They have not returned my calls about the deposit. The stress and discomfort this agency has caused us is immeasurable. Avoid!!!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality

They accepted our deposit, had us sign a contract stating if they changed their mind through no fault of ours before the move in date, the deposit would be returned. They then changed their mind and attempted to keep our deposit. After a firm dispute, they agreed to return it as a 'good will gesture'. They then took 2+ weeks to return it, after several follow up calls and emails. Just what you need when you're moving house. What a joke.
Be aware of what you're told on viewings. I was told that as part of the sale a fixture would be left at the property and to wait for the F&F form to come through to confirm that I wanted to keep it. I've since been told that the fixture has been removed and I should have made sure that it was stated on the sales memo. And of course they are now not taking any responsibility for the misinformation and have advised that a verbal agreement means nothing!

My daughter and her Uni friends have a rat infestation in their house. They are in the lounge, hall and kitchen. CJ Hole are not helping at all !! No mention of anyone helping them with the holes , getting rid of the rats let alone dissecting the house !! Has clearly been a problem before !! The money they charge from student and they can’t help them. Guess what …. Just tried to call them and surprise surprise no answer !!

Very very stressful experience. First of all they recommended a Solicitor that the buyer was already dealing with, so a lot of time was wasted and documents sent and were lost so we had to change as "Conflict of Interest" Told us Buyer was not in a chain but her property was being bought by a Developer , it all had to be finalised before 30 June due to Stamp duty. This was back at the beginning of March . Also not told that Buyer was interested in a fitting being left so sold the item . Each time we were supposed to exchange contracts a myriad of excuses were given .It eventually turned out that what I was told was a proceedable ,chain free buyer was not the case. On the third time of trying to exchange was then told that someone down the line did not have the funds and had not received their Mortgage Offer.
