We were originally planning to sell our family home in March 2020, had the valuation, got the photos planned but...!! Then in February 2021 we again contacted Rachel Andrews at Oulsnams, Bournville and everything was organised quickly and efficiently. The photos were fantastic and it was really lovely to see the house looking at its very best. All the viewings were managed by the Oulsnams team and within 30 minutes we had an asking price offer for the house. Within 48 hours we had 2 asking price offers and one very close. The process was brilliantly managed and we were able to complete with our chosen buyers within 11 weeks and before the end of the stamp duty holiday. We only ever ask Oulsnams to handle the sale process and we are always delighted if they are acting for the vendors. For us they are by far the best local agent and we have never been disappointed. I cannot recommend Oulsnams at Bournville enough. From start to finish the service they provided was superb. Rachel, the Manager initially valued our property and was extremely enthusiastic about the sale. The price she estimated was very favourable and we ‘sold’ on the first day of viewing. Throughout the sale, the person who shone for me was Becky. Nothing was too much trouble and every little query or niggle was very quickly chased up and she kept us continually in the loop. Aghhh, a house purchase! Like trying to navigate the Niagara rapids in a skiff with no paddles! You never know when you’ll hit a rock, or get flipped into the rushing water to meet your peril at the falls edge. Not so for me! Oulsnam provided ample support and helped negotiate the unexpected bumps and scrapes when they appeared. All this during lockdown too! If Rachel was the life-jacket, then Samantha was the oars; helping me navigate the turbulence and leading onward to still and calm waters. So, thanks to the staff for my lovely new home. If you're looking for an estate agent to sell your home, i would strongly recommend Oulsnam. As someone that has been looking for a house, i have been really impressed with Oulsnam. They have been the most proactive at sending out property match information (the only agents to have done so despite registering with multiple). They have been knowledgeable about all properties we have seen with them and always followed up with a phone call afterwards and again if we hadn't discounted a property initially. All without being pushy. If we were to sell in the area later on, i would choose Oulsnam given recent experience.

I can’t rate Rachel, Samantha and the team at Oulsnam Bournville highly enough - I would give them ten stars if I could. They did everything that they said they would and more. They sold my home in King’s Norton very quickly while I was going through health problems and a divorce, and were great at communicating with me and my ex-husband throughout. Feedback from viewings was prompt and very helpful. Once the sale was agreed, Samantha kept on top of everything and managed to get us over the various hurdles that accompany any property transaction. I thought that they were incredibly professional, kind and compassionate whilst also absolute experts on the local market. Using a traditional estate agent is most definitely worth it for a stress-free experience, and if you’re selling in King’s Norton/Bournville, these ladies are the very best.
