Extremely Poor Service and Lack of Professionalism I submitted an application for a flat and completed all required checks three weeks before my confirmed move-in date. During that time, I repeatedly followed up with my coordinator, Josh Davies, asking for updates. His responses were dismissive and unhelpful, insisting that everything was fine and that there were “no issues,” despite my concerns and reminders that my current lease was ending. After chasing them continuously for three weeks, I was informed just two days before my move-in date that the property was not ready. I then contacted the branch directly and spoke with the manager, Oscar Huball. My experience with Oscar was incredibly disappointing. He claimed the previous tenants had moved out late, even though when I viewed the flat five weeks earlier, the wardrobes, fridge, cupboards, and bathroom were all completely empty — clearly unoccupied. When I asked why this issue had not been communicated sooner, Oscar’s response was, “I’m informing you now.” When I explained that I would effectively be left without accommodation due to the last-minute disclosure, he replied, “What do you want me to do?” Rather than offering solutions or taking accountability, Oscar was dismissive, unprofessional, and showed no willingness to help resolve the situation. The lack of communication and basic customer service from someone in a managerial role was astonishing. I will not be using this company again and will be reporting my experience to the Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards.
The landlord has accepted another offer, and you should have proactively informed the other applicants who were still waiting, so they could make timely arrangements instead of waiting aimlessly for your notification. It is even more disappointing that when someone emailed to ask whether the property had been rented out, you chose not to respond at all. Such indifference does not reflect the professionalism and courtesy expected from a reputable agency. Every applicant may lose a month’s rent due to your lack of communication, and this kind of discriminatory treatment is simply unacceptable. I strongly advise others not to choose this agency, especially the staff member named Jack.
I and my husband visited this website and came across a house at 55 sandbourne road which v wanted to view. Initially I was booked for a viewing by Mia hinckley a senior manger at this branch for Friday 12th September which was canceled and reschedule for Monday 15th of September. As Monday is a working day v requested for virtual tour for which she agreed but I waited the whole day on Monday but unfortunately they couldn't provide me the video as they said the tenant did not allow which is understandable Than I was again booked for viewing on 18th Sep for which v took a day v travelled all the way from Leicester to Birmingham with by 1 year old faand just 1hour a ago v received the mail that viewing is cancelled and no longer available Just I can say v had a big loss v thought tht these people r professional as I was dealing with senior manager but unfortunately they r scammers I will highly not recommend u people.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Oscar Hubball. From my interactions, it was clear that professionalism was lacking. Communication was inconsistent, and commitments were not upheld, which caused unnecessary frustration and inconvenience. I expected a higher standard of service and accountability. I hope this feedback encourages improvement in the future.
