So my partner was looking looking to rent a house with martin and co for our family while i am pregnant he was doing the searching. He had a terrible experience avoid these guys if you can, they are a bunch of cow boys. They don’t keep up to date with the timings, they lie to you. Looking at the previous reviews of Martin&co I can see why some people are upset with the company as they are playing with peoples lives. Money money money is all they are interested and they don’t value family, if your willing to meet their rent which we did the house was newly renovated but that was covering the damp. They carpet were sprayed but you can see it was dirty, rats in the property. Worst estate agent I’ve dealt with, I’ve been renting with others in the past, when looking at the property make sure you see the house properly and don’t take these useless estate agents words for it. #martin&cowboys

Don’t use this company

The worst agency ever. Agents irresponsible and have no clue what are they doing at all. Only thing that we needed was to add one more tenant on our current contract. We applied two months ago, paid 500£ a month ago (which is ridiculous amount of money to add one tenant on a contract) and it is not settled yet. We've been in agency at least 5 times, we're calling every other day and every time we get different agent who has no idea what are we talking about. Because of their ignorance my fiancee cannot apply for NIN, cannot make bank account and cannot do anything in this country. When you see Martin & Co I sincerely recommend you to run! Ridiculous!

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I booked a flat while i was abroad and when i came back i saw a double bed with king mattress! The carpets in the rooms are F I L T H Y., the desk in the room is broken. I am 12 days in the flat and the fridge is not working ! 12 DAYS! I call every single day and they dont do nothing! My letter box has a code, from the first day i was asked for the code and i am still waiting (i explained them that i am student and in the letter box is a letter from the student financial and if i dont sign it, i will drop out) and every single day i hear the same excuses we will call you back and guess what? They never call back. They are the most unprofessional company that i have ever see! Please be careful from this company!

In over 10 years of renting never had such awful experience and can foresee will continue to do so so disappointed

I have recently taken out a property with this company in harborne. Worst experience of my life, the property is completely unfit to live in. Rodent infestation, broken guttering, damp and cracked plaster work to name just a few problems. The agency have a complete lack of respect for their customers and charge a £500.00 exit fee to leave a property which is clearly uninhabitable. Do not rent with this company.
