Unfortunately for me Regency were the fourth estate agents i had approached/used to sell my house. The first agents were too pushy, intimidating, rude and un realisitic. The second was late and had no clue on taking photos to market the property and stood on my furniture with his shoes on!!! The third company was old fashioned, too relaxed and not enthusiastic at all. I had 3 viewings in many months and i had almost given up by now. My last desperate try and fourth choice of agents was Regency. As soon as i stepped into the new office i wish i had used them sooner. Finally 'normal', friendly, polite, approachable people who told it like it is & wanted to sell my house! What a relief for me: a dis heartened person who's house no one wanted to buy. Neil was polite & casual in giving me information and didnt put any pressure on my to sign up with them. He showed me their marketing portfolios and arranged for Lee to visit. Lee had such a pro active attitude and advised me how we can go forward to re market the property and get it sold. He seemed enthusiastic, focused and a perfectionist. The photos were good minus the outside to which he came back on a sunday to re take the photo when the sun was out showing the house in a better light. The viewings flooded in and i was kept informed at every step. I am hard of hearing and so they did not mind my constant emails. My questions or queries i put forward were dealt with and i didnt once feel like i was pestering them, although im sure i did. Their fee is competitive and at a fixed rate no matter how much the property sells for. Me being the ever sceptical person, presumed lee/regency as a typical agent would encourage me to settle for any offer as he still gets his fixed rate regardless. Business is business to them..I was very wrong as lee pushed a potential buyer for more money ontop of what they offered and did so sucessfully. I would of settled for the lower offer but he advised me to trust him to try and get more money as he felt the house was worth it. I felt completely confident he would do his best and get a fair deal for me and the buyer and he did. Deal done!!! I am incredibly particular about how i get treated as a customer and good customer service is expected when i am paying. Regency exceeded my expectations and i have already recommended them to friends and family. I may return to the area in a few years to buy a property again and i know which agents i will be going too. Regency!!! Other agents could learn alot from regency and i hope regency expand as they give estate agents a good name.
