Being 1st time landlords overseas I have found Martin and Co of York very professional and efficient. They made everything clear from the start and if I had any questions they got back to asap. I didn't ask for any other property management quotes as I liked the attitude and professionalism of my first contact/meet with one of their staff members. They didn't come across as pushy and looking for the hard sell. They helped me with this new process of property management, they where always on time, followed up calls/meetings. New I am a landlord I am struggling slightly with the confusing statement set up and how I am invoiced however I am sure they will be happy to help.

So far so good. The York Staff are very friendly and seem very organised. They found me tenants within a few days of being engaged.

Don't let properties and gave me phone numbers for other letting people who also didn't let properties

Moved into our new property through martin and co in August. Since then, we’ve had nothing but issues with the current property and they don’t seem to care. Had to constantly chase them about ongoing damp which still hasn't been resolved. The property was filthy when we moved in, no clean done between tenants, no maintenance of white goods as washing machine had mould growing throughout. Windows were painted shut. All of the issues i have raised have been ignored by both martin and co and the landlord. Called today about an emergency leak through the ceiling into our dining room. Told they are closing in a couple of minutes and will get someone out tomorrow. They have been no help at any stage since moving in, typical letting agency taking a fee from the landlord but not actually managing anything other than your rent.

Advertised a property but no price took details saying they would get back to us when price agreed. Not a call or email just ignored us. That's how professional they are.
