Do NOT lease a property from Northwood! They were incredibly rude on the phone when I called up to complain that they hadn't cleaned the property prior to my moving in. As it was written in to the contract that they would do a professional clean it means that they had cut corners when preparing the property. This is at the expense of the tenant and probably also the landlord. I have never been spoken to so rudely by someone who is supposed to be providing a services. Stay well clear of them!!

Rented my flat (which had been completely done up and had a new kitchen a bathroom) When it came to taking it back the flooring had been completely destroyed with water damage which they tried passing as “wear and tear” the kitchen and oven we’re filthy and hadn't been cleaned and the bathroom was filthy as well. They asked if the Tennant could paint the walls which I agreed as long as they were painted back however this did not happen and they refused to get the tenant to paint back or compensate me When I tried to complain they weren’t interested and said it had been checked over by one of their managers and they were happy to hand it back at that standard. After multiple attempts to get them to come and have a look they weren’t interested at all. Do not rent through them it’s more hassle then it’s worth and cost me a lot of money!!

I can't choose 0 star but ok. Poor communication in the office,irresponsible, unhelpful, manager doesn't know what is happening in the office. I'm very disappointed because i lost a very nice house because they are useless and no professionals. Never trust them.

Awful! Rented our property through these and the place was handed back with cooked food in the oven, and a dirty bathroom... but most disappointingly was damaged flooring and all the interior walls painted and not put back to original colour as agreed.... So had to do a lot of work before we could even move back in! And the staff wasn’t helpful and tried to come up with excuses and pass the blame.... never use this company again! Would give no stars if possible!

Very disappointing service, promised the earth, took days to get a response, do not speak to James with regards to renting a property as he clearly cannot deliver what he says, offered up 6 months rent in advance and apparently the landlord still said no! Find this very unlikely!! James promised our holding fee back the same day it finally took 3 days after being ignored by him and going directly to their accounts department.
