Really bad experience with this agency!!! Don't recommend it to anyone!!!! Don't use it!!!!

Dishonest. Upon leaving the rental they told me that the landlord's colleague was coming by to inspect, turns out it was a client viewing the property via a rival agency. I called them on this and they lied through their teeth to cover themselves. Clearly they were trying to torpedo their rivals. Now they're dragging their feet on returning my deposit. Would not recommend.

Worse than terrible. Lazy and incompetent would be aspirational for them. Easily the worse Letting Agents/Management Company I've ever come across in my 5 years in Property Management. They make everything harder than it needs to be and we have caught them in several lies. Judging by the other reviews, lots of landlords and tenants clearly feel the same. Do NOT use this agent!!!!! They are unprofessional and rude, being a tenant of theirs myself for over three years was WAY to long in my opinion. I am glad that I'm finally not involved with them anymore. Landlords if you want a professional and trustworthy letting agent, Northwood are not for you. This organisation has slammed the phone down on a number of there landlords. It has also treated tenants unfairly. And even failed to transfer tenants deposits.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Absolute criminals. Companies like this should not be trading. They tried to scam us out of our deposit by charging extortionate fees for issues that were on the inventory when we moved in. We also found lots of other issues like cigarette burns and stains in carpets and asked for them to be updated onto the inventory and they never did so when we moved out they tried to charge us for those also. Only way we got out of it was by the fact that they did not have evidence to prove it. They were rude and unprofessional on many occasions. When we moved in they used an outside company to do the inventory and they did the checkout in house when we moved out. Had a broken fire alarm and they were not interested. Kids were knocking flag stones off the garden wall with footballs and they told us we would have to prove they did it or we would be liable for the cost of repair. Whatever you do rent your property elsewhere. Enjoy your feedback Northwood 👍got what you deserve 👌

Awful treatment of a tenant faced with an emergency. I feel for the landlord that's paying this incompetent letting agent the fees and very poorly manage his properties. I would not recommend letting or renting through Northwood.
