This branch does not work from a place of integrity and do not communicate well, not sure how they operate from a selling point of view but without even communicating withdrew an excepted offer from us saying that funds weren't available when they would have been if they had checked with us before accepting the offer from someone else. They should have spoken to us first but were to interested in chasing commission. Within 24hrs this problem could have been sorted out. Miranda perhaps should have checked with us before telling my wife that we were not honest, because other funds were available and it could have been sorted out if they had contacted us and communicated properly but Martin and Co Worksop threw the baby out with the bath water before checking, blaming us, our solicitors and even the vendor but never themselves. The whole process from sealed bids to the end outcome less than 48hrs after our offer being accepted smells off. Very unprofessional and underhanded way of doing business. If you have an issue you communicate it as more than often it can be sorted out easily. Property sales should never just be about the vendor but supporting the purchaser. Never assume that a buyer only has one stream of revenue, but you never even asked. Thank you very much. Rude, unprofessional and show a lack of understanding and and ability to communicate properly. My husband and I have been trying to reach their lettings department since Friday. We had to evacuate our house with our 2 year old daughter after the CO monitor went off. The gas has been turned off at the mains by the gas emergency services and while we can now be in the house, we have no central heating, hot water or oven as its gas (including the hob). We can’t go on like this. Last night I had to fill my daughters plastic toy box with water I heated in the kettle so I could bath her! Our electric bill is going to be sky high from running the electric heaters I had to go and buy yesterday and boiling the kettle for hot water. We need help and they are refusing to give it! We feel thoroughly let down by Martin and co

Poor service don't return my £105 back what dad paid for and they didn't say why me my partner and my failed the credit check

Me and my partner currently looking for a house to rent as have everything needed including deposit n first months rent as we told the shop we was interested in a property just of Carlton road to be told that viewing was next week! And as we all-ready viewed the property prior for them to say it’s been given away after leaving us waiting a week to hear back from them shocking customer service over the phone to me and my partner and wouldn’t use them again

Not at all helpful for renters, more geared up on the landlords side. Reluctant to give deposits back please be aware before renting.

I used Martin and co to buy and manage a property for me. To start off with they sent the wrong details of the property to my solicitor. Then the letting side..the boiler broke down and the tenants left and they didn't inform me . My next tenant had several things mended at an extortionate price, I soon learnt to find my own workers. I also was charged for deep cleaning which never too place. I began to check up on them and realised that they were not managing very much at all.I found them stressful and earned very little income from my property but Martin and co did quite well. The staff changed constantly and very few stayed there working for long. All in all it was a very stressful experience. I am relieved we parted company Dec 2018
