Watch out! My partner and I rented one of their properties that within the first day of moving in we noticed mould around the Windows, walls and bath room. We’d noticed a few other things such as the window being broken, things left by previous tenants like shoes and clothes and even found the toilet extremely dirty. I had made a phone call the day of the move to explain the mould situation and the window to which it took 4/5 months to get the window fixed and no comment on the mould. I ended up cleaning the mould but during the rest of my tenancy I was threatened to have my deposit taken for the “damages” made by me (meaning the mould that way there since the day I moved). Luckily I had taken photos and had emails as proof so the deposit company obviously saw that Martin and co were just trying to steal more money! I very much advise anyone who moves into one of their properties to keep photographic proof and emails in order to dispute for your deposit as they will try their best to blame you for something that was never your fault.

Worst customer services, professionalism and even manners I have ever experienced. I would never use martin an co again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They made mistake after mistake and broke rules of contract. We are now looking to seek legal advise as they let people in our flat without us knowing on various occasions and also offered no compensation or replacement accommodation when our flat became un-inhabitable.

Martin and Co. take zero responsibility for the landlords that they work with. Their out of hours response to ANY emergency is...non existent and they can't communicate between themselves efficiently enough to provide any kind of consistent service to their tenants. Only get something done when you threaten non payment due to breech of contract. Utterly pathetic service from day one. Thanks again for nothing!

Very unprofessional, had arranged viewing, they cancelled it without any notice or letting us know, when I said that nobody contacted me, women on the phone told me its your word against other employee. Completely incompetent.

Martin & Co of Worcester have well and truly let me down. I had a booking to view a property late of Friday afternoon. Peter from Martin & Co knew I was staying on in Worcester especially for this viewing as I had tried to book the viewing for earlier and explained to him that I was only staying on in Worcester for this one viewing. He said he couldn't do it any earlier which was fair enough and it was my decision to keep the viewing. I stood outside the property for 20 minutes waiting for Peter to show. It was absolutely tipping it down with rain with no shelter. When I finally rang the office, the woman who answered the phone said my viewing had been cancelled and that Peter had notified me either by text or email. I told her I had not received a text so she told me he must have emailed me. There was no apology, just a very defensive attitude. I was not able to check my emails during the day and she implied that the whole thing was my fault because I was not able to check my emails. She said they have no way of knowing that I was not able to check my emails. As far as I am concerned, it is the agents responsibility to make sure that contact is made with the client to confirm that they are aware of the cancellation, not just assuming everyone has access to their emails at all times of the day and night. Doing it by text or email leaves much room for error, as my situation demonstrates. She said Peter was outside the office and she would go get him on the phone. Then she came back and said Peter had left and was away on holiday....! He didn't even have the decency to come speak to me. The woman on the other end did eventually apologise, but by then the damage had been done. I would not recommend Martin & Co.

Had a letter from this agent last week telling me that they had noticed my property was To Let and asking that they advertised it alongside my present agent. I rang them to say it was NOT to let nor was it for sale and to please amend their records and take me off their mailing list. Today I had another letter stating they noticed my property was still being advertised. If they can't get an address right and ignore verbal requests on the telephone then they are INCOMPETENT and no way would I use them to let or sell my home if and when I wish to.

Upon moving out, they charged £60 'gardening' from deposits with the reasoning that 'the bushes didn't look the same as the inventory'. £140 communal clean, even though the property was thoruoghly cleaned to a professional standard. Over £1000 in fees before you even get your keys. Just stay well clear
