Very unprofessional company, I was a tenant with them for a number of years and always payed my rent on time, always dragging their feet with getting repairs sorted was left without hot water for nearly two months with a new baby in the property. Have repeatedly ignored my emails chasing my deposit back I have no choice now but to get a solicitor involved and get in touch with a ombudsman to get my deposit back. Don't be fooled by the five star reviews on here many of them have probably been left by friends/family members. Avoid at all costs.

I am still waiting for the return of my deposit, but Whitegates is ignoring my emails. I am waiting for 11 months now. They already confirmed that I get back my deposit (which is many months ago) but they simply do not take care of it. I cannot recommend Whitegates.

Emailed about an apartment in Wolverhampton over a week ago and still no reply... glad I’m not paying them to sell mine. Very disappointed

They have ur holding fee and then we are just about to move and then they say tenants aren't going

After dealing with this unprofessional company I am now in touch with the Ombudsman to retrieve money wrongly taken from me. Use them at your own perall.

About to put my property on market popped im branch but before i made a start my 3 year old little girl needed toilet they refused and was rude to me. Take my business elsewhere boycott this rude branch. Disgusting!!!

Very disappointed, never come across a company so unprofessional. Certainly wouldn’t recommend using them. What a shame they don’t focus as much on selling your property as they to passing the blame around the office.

Fence blown down at one of their properties 11 months ago, still not fixed and no further forward. If you need anything sorting - don't rely on them.

To give whitegates Wolverhampton even 1 star is extremely generous. At the property we were renting on the Willenhall road we never had hot water from the day we moved in on November 19th 2016 right through to moving out on May 17th 2017. This was brought to their attention numerous times throughout our tenancy and they just sent their own contractors out who proved time and time again that they could not diagnose or fix the the problem whilst acknowledging that we had no hot water the whole time. Response times were extremely slow when we had to keep reporting the issues if they came back at all. The list of problems we had during our tenancy is far too long to mention here. Upon our final inspection where 2 minor issues were raised, Julie got aggressive when we questioned them and then took 12 days to come back with any feedback in relation to our deposit. Also, she miraculously had a much longer list of issues then, none of which were an issue when we handed back the keys 12 days earlier. I couldn't advise strongly enough for anyone and everyone to steer clear of whitegates when looking for an estate agent.
