Extremely Disappointed with Millennium Letting Agency and Lack of Action from TJ I have to say, Millennium Letting Agency has been incredibly disappointing—there’s no polite way to express it. Fortunately, I’m not relying on them to manage my own rental properties. The situation I’m facing is deeply concerning, and it’s clear TJ is not treating it with the seriousness it deserves. The fence separating my garden from the neighbouring property is in a severe state of disrepair. I doubt it will survive another winter. To make matters worse, the neighbours now have two dogs that are regularly left in the garden. There are significant gaps under the fence, and it wouldn’t take much for them to get through. The condition of the fence is deteriorating daily, and it has reached a point where we can no longer use our garden safely—especially with young children. This is simply unacceptable. The responsibility for maintaining the fence lies with the landlord next door, not the tenants. Millennium is the managing agent and therefore has a duty to address this issue. The tenants have reportedly raised the issue multiple times with Millennium, yet the agency denies this—something I find quite questionable. When I initially spoke to TJ on Thursday, May 1st, he expressed concern—particularly due to the risk posed to our children if the dogs entered our garden—and asked me to send photos so the matter could be addressed. That was nearly three weeks ago. Since then, I’ve had several follow-ups with TJ, but he’s continually offered excuses. More recently, he asked me to put everything in writing, as if this were a new issue. Why has it taken over two weeks to make that request? We are dealing with dogs that are not suitable to be around children, and yet the potential danger this poses is being ignored. If something were to happen, the consequences could be serious—and TJ may ultimately bear responsibility. It’s incredibly disheartening that I’ve had to escalate this to a public review just to be taken seriously. Shame on you, TJ.
