Thank you for your review.
As you are already aware, your daughter’s deposit is held by the TDS and is currently undergoing adjudication. Millennium Properties have not taken her money and any funds that we receive from the TDS will be transferred to the Landlord.
We would only claim against a deposit on a Landlord’s instruction, which is then transferred to the Landlord in full. The Tenant can either agree with or dispute a claim, as you have done. Millennium Properties does not benefit in any way from a claim against a Tenant’s deposit.
As for the funeral procession, this is an extremely sensitive and delicate issue, suffice to say the Director or anyone at Millennium Properties were not involved in the proceedings or the arrangements. This matter is already being dealt with by the Director, who you have also been dealing with.
