With regard to deposit processing approval; Agents always have to have landlord and tenants approval prior to deposit release. It transpires this was just the control cap, which our handyman has supplied free of charge. With regard to renewal and referencing fees, I fully appreciate that such fees are unwelcome. Presently such fees are the norm in the lettings industry until tenant fees cease when the law changes in June 2019. Our fees are advised in the terms of business that we issue at time of tenancy application. We benchmark our fees regularly and keep them amongst the lowest in the city.
