We are currently in the process of purchasing our property with Whitegates and couldnt be happier with the service we've received. Our broker is Megan Davies and she's been helpful, informative and professional from the start. We were a bit dubious about using a broker as opposed to our bank, as we didnt know what sort of fees to expect but we met with Megan anyway to find out. The service she provides is well worth the fees she charges (out of respect for her privacy I wont be specific but I will say that they are reasonable and not as pricey as you might expect). She explained the entire process to us from start to finish, she explained not only the conveyancy process but the mortgage application and re-mortgage process, and gave us a realistic timeline for completion. We were shown a comparison of rates from different lenders and weve actually ended up with a better rate than if we had just gone to our bank like we were originally going to. No query that weve had has been too much trouble for her to answer and shes just generally a lovely person to deal with. We have also dealt with Amanda who has been liasing with the seller/sellers solicitor and dealing with chasing up documents and again we couldnt be happier. Weve been kept fully informed of developments on a regular basis. Definitely recommend Megan as a broker, it was absolutely the right decision for us and her services are spot on !
