However, as letting agents, we are unfortunately not the final decision-makers when it comes to who a landlord chooses for a tenancy. In these particular cases, there were also multiple agencies involved marketing the same properties, which meant decisions were entirely in the hands of the landlords. At no stage would we intentionally promise a property before formal approval had been given, particularly as we were still getting to know your requirements and the landlords’ preferences.
